在蔡英文当选台湾首位女总统的那一刻，美国电影制作人葛静文 (Vanessa Hope) 知道自己正在见证历史。2016年，蔡英文竞选总部胜选之夜，一幅大型电子看板用英文打出三个大字——“We Are Taiwanese.（我们是台湾人。）”
Elaine Ávila对于自己好评如潮，以葡萄牙法朵（fado）音乐为题材的舞台剧本月于Firehall Theatre再度公演乐得心花怒放。这名新西敏居民表示，在Donna Spencer的艺术指导下，剧场40年来屡创先河。
这部电影不但让我对于不丹这个神秘的国家有更多的了解，美丽的风景、善良的人，以及电影中的幽默又带点讽刺的日常对话，其中带给我反思的是：贯穿整部电影里，民主与现代生活即将为这个传统孤立的国家带来的冲突与改变，而电影的情节也让你看到「不丹就是这样的地方，不丹的人就是这样子」。
