2021年7月2日清晨,墨西哥湾上演了一幕奇境:由水底管道泄漏出来的燃气着火,造成海面在燃烧的景象。数小时后,这个位于尤卡坦半岛以西的「火眼」终于被扑灭,而这不寻常事件的画面亦已经在社群媒体上疯传开去。Capture Photography Festival执行长Emmy Lee Wall表示,人类直觉上会相信照片代表着真相,但上述事件并非如此,因为根据物理定律,水并不能燃烧起来。
