Sae Hoon (Stan) Chung a reçu le prix Ramon John Hnatyshyn pour le bénévolat dans le domaine des arts de la scène.

Chung says that because of people like former Governor General Mary Simon (right), he felt 100 percent Canadian upon receiving his award.

A B.C. Arts Council member and former chair, Chung was honoured with the Ramon John Hnatyshyn Award for Voluntarism in the Performing Arts.

The Vancouver director will feature the Kim’s Convenience star in an NFB initiative for the Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards.

This project is funded in part by the Government of Canada.
We would like to acknowledge that we are gathered on the traditional and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish Nation), and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation). With this acknowledgement, we thank the Indigenous peoples who still live on and care for this land.
