Grant’s memories are preserved in Reconciling through a series of conversations conducted with Steedman over eight years.
One of those writers is Evelyn Lau, who will speak at the LiterASIAN event When Railways Were Highways: Remembering Jim Wong-Chu’s Legacy.
Musqueam Elder Larry Grant created Reconciling in conversation with Scott Steedman. It’s been nominated for two B.C. and Yukon Book Prizes.
A soirée to celebrate the shortlisted authors will be held at 6:30 p.m. on May 21 at Book Warehouse in Vancouver (632 West Broadway).
