卑詩省反種族歧視項目議會秘書艾美寶在「反種族歧視醒覺週」首天發表以下聲明:「2023年5月22日至26日的『反種族歧視醒覺週』為卑詩省民提供機會,認識本省的多元文化和歷史,並反思如何在本週以至全年每一天對抗歧視、種族主義和仇恨。卑詩省容不下種族歧視。只要我們攜手維護平等,便可令到本省成為更理想和更有共融性的地方。」

The Society of We Are Canadians Too created Pancouver to foster greater appreciation for underrepresented artistic communities. A rising tide of understanding lifts all of us.

We would like to acknowledge that we are gathered on the traditional and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish Nation), and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation). With this acknowledgement, we thank the Indigenous peoples who still live on and care for this land.
