「我是八個孩子裡最小的，我爸爸透過他在唐人街的生意組成了家族樂團，所以全家人都參與其中，」Jimmy 說。「我的兄弟姐妹們都會演奏不同的樂器。我非常羨慕他們有自己專屬的樂器，而我什麼都沒有。當時我還很小，沒有屬於自己的樂器，所以我就負責打擊樂器，算是比較簡單的那種。但也不算太糟，因為打擊樂讓我熟悉了各種節奏。」
