当温哥华音乐人乐凡 (Van Lefan) 在台湾长大时，农历新年是一个「非常」重要的节日。亲戚们会来访，甚至从远方赶来，因为农历新年假期通常会持续一整个星期。「我们会聚在一起，进行各种传统的庆祝活动，」乐凡在 Zoom 上告诉《Pancouver》。「即使我的父母现在住在这里，跟大家族一起庆祝的感觉还是完全不同。」
今年春天，太平洋彼岸举办了一场跨文化盛宴。由温哥华发起的玉石音乐节（Jade Music Fest） 在台北举办了首届玉石音乐节：超混血共演（Jade Music Fest in Asia），共有来自加拿大、台湾、香港和澳洲的17位音乐家登台表演。
令人惊叹、令人震撼。对于那些有幸参加这场将在温哥华历史上留名的舞蹈派对，这些形容词都足以用来描述10月20日在温哥华小剧场举行的喧嚣音乐会。此音乐会为第二届 Jade Music Fest划下了完美的句点。
