家族背景对一个人的影响有多深?到底身份是你的包袱,抑或支撑着你的基础?4月2日,两名台湾原住民艺术家进行了意味深长而庄严的演出,以回应温哥华美术馆名为Guud san glans Robert Davidson: A Line That Bends But Does Not Break的展览。林安琪(Ciwas Tahos)是泰雅族的艺术家,而简志霖(Vava Isingkaunan)则是布农族的表演者。两人透过歌声、传统乐器和语言上演了一场土地确认(land acknowledgement),表达他们获邀到此的荣幸,以及在这段期间多加学习的意愿。

温哥华编剧兼导演 Asia Youngman的事业有很多值得自豪之处。她获奖的两套短片《N’xaxaitkw》和《This Ink Runs Deep》先后于多伦多国际电影节上映。此外,Playback网站在2020年把这位克里 — 梅蒂裔(Cree-Métis)电影制作者列于其「十名值得关注的电影工作者名单」。她亦曾于美国公共广播公司节目登场,并参与数个开发中的电视项目,其中一个节目的制作公司更由李奥纳多·狄卡皮欧(Leonardo DiCaprio)持有。
