Global Dance Festival in Surrey embodies the spirit of cultural connection

Global Dance Festival

A fusion of diversity will be on display in Surrey on Saturday (August 23). Organized by Spandan Arts Dance Academy and presented by the Bhojan Restaurant, the Global Dance Festival runs from 4:30 p.m.to 8 p.m. at the Bell Performing Arts Centre (6250 144 Street). It will feature at least 17 troupes or individuals reflecting dance traditions from around the world.

The organizers’ goal is to send a message of inclusion and cultural harmony, aligning with the values of diversity and representation. They also hope to inspire the next generation of performers.

All ages are welcome and food and beverages are available for purchase outside the venue. However, they cannot be brought inside the theatre. Tickets are available online.
