跨學科藝術表演家 Jasmine Chen 表示，她的新劇《玉環 (Jade Circle) 》的種子在十多年前就已悄悄種下。2012年，在她的外婆去世後的幾週裡，這個故事大綱開始萌芽。當時，Chen 發現自己正在回想外婆教她的台灣兒歌片段。
溫哥華的 Jade Music Fest 將匯聚兩位備受喜愛的亞洲音樂家，在 Vogue Theatre（時尚劇院）舉行一場音樂會，並邀請來自加拿大三個城市的音樂家參加。本週五（11 月 8 日）的 Concert of Convergence （匯聚音樂會）將由香港抒情歌后樹莉莉 (Serrini) 和台灣超級巨星鄭宜農 (Enno Cheng) 領銜演出。
溫哥華博物館（Museum of Vancouver，簡稱 MOV）在推動與原住民族的和解上，做出了一項值得肯定的壯舉。這座位於 Vanier 公園、擁有 131 年歷史的機構，近年來在將原住民族文物與祖先遺骸歸還給原住民族社群的行動上，始終走在前線。
